| Mastering - why do you need a "fresh ear" ? | |
|
If you're a musician, or you're interested in recordings you probably know how big the differencies can be between a "pro" recording, and a "home studio" type of recording. The final results depend not only on the technical equipment used during the session. After the mixing process, a record is still not ready for duplication. It needs mastering, which is basically a process to give the material final touches. This magical word usually means dynamic compression or limiting, careful EQ settings, stereo width adjustments, and the converting process to the desired media (CD, DVD). The result is a track, which the radios accept to play, which is comparable to the ideal sound of the musical style. To make the right decisions, and produce good results you need a good musicians ear, and sound engineers knowledge to do this process using the best possible technical equipment. We can provide these all for you. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed: if you don't like the results, we offer free remastering, untill you like the results! If the material contains big anomalies in balance, our Mix/master service would be a good solution for you: |
